Cables

Many of the tests required for electromechanical relays are the same as those required for cable assemblies (continuity, low-value resistance measurements, dielectric withstanding and IR). Therefore it was a logical move for RTS to add testing services for cable assemblies.

RTS can provide quick and easy verification of the following test items:

• Low-voltage continuity and intermittent fault detection/location
• High-voltage tests for dielectric withstanding and insulation resistance to 1,000 VDC and 1,500 VAC
• High-current stimulus to perform ground integrity tests as well as high-accuracy resistance measurements and functional tests
